We are a leading textile manufacturing group based in Hong Kong, with a strong presence in the US market. As a Design Lead, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our design strategy, working closely with our sales, R&D, and US clients' fashion designers to produce high-quality fabrics that meet the needs of our customers.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled designer to join our team and take on a leadership role in our design department. As a senior fashion creative, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance on design trends, conducting market research, and collaborating with our production team to ensure that designs are feasible and meet market demands.

  • Develop comprehensive designs that reflect current fashion trends and customer preferences.
  • Collaborate with our sales team to ensure that our designs meet the needs of our customers.
  • Present design concepts to internal teams, clients, and at trade shows.
  • Maintain accurate records of designs, prototypes, and final specifications for future reference.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, internal teams, and manufacturing plants to clarify requirements and follow up on design-related inquiries.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2-3 years in design roles in the textile or fashion industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Strong creative and artistic skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Cantonese; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of fashion trends and customer preferences, especially in the US market. Experience in the US market is a plus.
