JPC Texson Ltd is a leading garment manufacturer with headquarters in Hong Kong. We specialize in infant wear and children's wear, supplying major markets in the US, Europe, and Canada.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Merchandising Manager to lead our merchandising teams in HK office and Vietnam factory. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of managerial experience in garment merchandising, with a strong background in baby wear or kidswear.
The Role
As Head of Merchandising, you will be responsible for managing existing customer accounts, communications, and conflict resolution. You will also discover customer business needs and propose suitable solutions, coordinate activities for each account, and prepare regular client reports.
You will analyze market conditions to develop sales goals and marketing strategies, working closely with our Marketing Manager to promote products and services to potential markets. Building and enhancing relationships with customers is crucial to retaining and growing our business.
Requirements
- Tertiary education
- 5+ years of managerial experience in garment merchandising
- Experience in baby wear or kidswear is highly desirable
- Proficient in English and Mandarin
- Report to the Senior Director
- Function as Head of Merchandising
- Lead Merchandising Teams in HK office & Vietnam factory
- Manage existing customer accounts, communications, and conflict resolution
- Discover customer's business needs and propose appropriate solutions
- Analyze, predicate and research market conditions to develop sales goals and marketing strategies
- Work with Marketing Manager to develop channels to introduce and promote the products and services to potential markets
- Negotiate and close contracts, maintain excellent customer relationships, and continually build opportunity pipeline
- Work based in HK office with frequent trips to Vietnam (2 hours flight from Hong Kong)
- 5 days work
- Annual leave: 16 days
