Financial Governance and Risk Specialist

This role involves supporting the management of governance and risk within the department, ensuring compliance with company guidance and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing similar job natures, project management, or business analysis.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct periodic audits to ensure POS transactions are properly performed and adhere to all regulations' requirements and company's rules and guidelines.
- Identify areas within POS that may be in violation of the regulations and propose ways to improve them to ensure smooth operation.
- Support Risk Management & Compliance / Internal Audit in various activities, including annual auditing activities, regulatory reporting, and control monitoring.
- Coordinate with the team to ensure consistency in practice and meet required standards.
- Assist in formulating and implementing plans to revise existing controls or add new controls if deficiencies are noted.
- Support reporting activities on control monitoring.
- Governance all related SOPs are updated and compliant with processing rules.
- Liaise with teams/departments to implement risk management & compliance-related initiatives or projects to embed requirements in day-to-day business operations of POS.
- Organize and provide necessary training to stakeholders.
- Revise guidelines, forms, & procedures manuals and ensure up-to-date.
- University/College graduate with at least 5 years of experience in managing similar job natures, project management, or business analysis.
- Experience in project management and process review in an insurance firm is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Result-oriented, aggressive, and innovative.
- Proactive in problem-solving in a fast-moving industry.
- Demonstrated analytic capacity and business thinking.
- Relevant licenses may be required if the job involves regulated activities.
