We are seeking a highly skilled individual to join our Information Technology Services Centre as an Associate Information Technology Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring and monitoring IT hardware and software, providing IT support for teaching activities, and diagnosing and solving IT technical issues.

This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. If you have a passion for technology and enjoy working in a dynamic and fast-paced setting, we encourage you to apply.

About the Role

  • Responsibilities include installing, configuring and monitoring IT hardware and software;
  • Providing IT support for teaching activities, user and help desk operation;
  • Diagnosing and solving IT technical issues;
  • Managing and operating IT facilities in the University;
  • Supporting University events and setting up corresponding IT equipment;
  • Assisting in vendor, inventory, budget and maintenance management for IT equipment.

Requirements

  • Possess a higher diploma or above qualification in a related discipline, preferably with at least 3 years of relevant work experience;
  • Have good knowledge of IT technologies;
  • Have good command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
  • Have good interpersonal, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Be pleasant with a positive mindset, good customer sense and willing to learn new technologies.
