The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Associate Information Technology Officer to join its Information Technology Services Centre. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and monitoring IT hardware and software, providing technical support for teaching activities, user help desk operation, diagnosing and solving IT technical issues, managing and operating IT facilities, supporting university events, and assisting in vendor, inventory, budget, and maintenance management for IT equipment.

To be successful in this role, you should possess a higher diploma or above qualification in a related discipline, preferably with at least three years of relevant work experience. You should have good knowledge of IT technologies, good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, good interpersonal, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and a pleasant personality with a positive mindset, good customer sense, and willingness to learn new technologies.

The appointee will be required to work shifts in evenings and on weekends. Work experience in the higher education sector will be an advantage.
