**Job Summary**
Global Executive Consultants Ltd. is seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager, Data Governance and Quality Assurance to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for maintaining data governance and management policies, overseeing their execution, and conducting periodic reviews.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Collaborate with the Data Governance Committee and task force to drive data governance initiatives and ensure adherence to the bank's governance, control, and management of relevant data-related policies and procedures.
- Support project implementations on data governance and quality standards for the bank's applications to strengthen the bank's competitiveness and improve customer experience through the use of data assets.
- Define data strategy and ensure adherence to the bank's data governance framework.
- Act as a liaison between business users and IT teams to ensure data governance and data quality are in practice.
- Work with key stakeholders to identify critical data elements and ensure all identified data elements are formally documented, unambiguously defined from both business and IT perspectives.
**Requirements**
- University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of working experience in data governance from recognized establishments in the financial services and/or banking sector.
- Experience in establishing, implementing, and maintaining data governance frameworks, processes, and workflows on IT applications via SDLC.
- Knowledge and working experience in data management practices and tools, including modeling, ETL, quality control, and data analytics.
- Knowledge of data governance practices, business, and technology related to the management of enterprise information assets and approaches related to data protection.
- Good communication skills in Cantonese and English, with Putonghua an advantage.
