At Alstom, we're committed to delivering innovative transportation solutions that move people and goods efficiently and sustainably. As a Senior Validation Engineer, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our railway signaling systems.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Collaborate with the V&V Manager to conduct thorough reviews of all documents and ensure the verification activity defined in the V&V Plan is executed.
  • Develop and maintain Requirement Validation Tables to ensure accurate and complete requirements are met.
  • Design and implement FIVP Procedures for IXL, ATC, and ATS Subsystems, setting up the lab environment.
  • Define test plans and test descriptions for in-house activities, liaising with PrCOM for exported tests.
  • Ensure Factory testing provides full coverage to guarantee correct implementation of functional and safety requirements.
  • Design, review, and update Test procedures/scenarios against System requirements for Metro Signaling Systems.
  • Apply extensive expertise as a generalist to meet company standards and customer requirements, defining specifications for new or modified products/systems.
  • Lead or participate in technical discussions with customers, working closely with the V&V Manager and Project Engineering Manager.
  • Process-oriented and demonstrates process compliance.
  • Primary focal point for Internal/External Quality and Safety assessment audits for V&V.
  • Perform test sessions, run test procedures, produce test reports, and associated Change Requests.
  • System Operation & Performance Test Report (Safety, Robustness, Endurance) for Impact analysis across baselines and freeze the non-regression strategy.
  • Check that test tools are in perfect working order and calibrated.
  • Support T&C Team for Troubleshooting.

Requirements:




  • Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics, Communications, Instrumentation, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in Railway Signaling.
  • Experience in T&C/Validation Activities.
  • Knowledge of IXL, ATC, ATS Subsystems.
  • Knowledge of computer networking and programming language.
  • Competencies & Skills:
