About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Solutions Consultant to join our team at Fortinet. As a member of our Technical Pre-Sales Department, you will work closely with our Sales Team to position our portfolio of security solutions, drive field Systems Engineers in their projects, and report product evolution requests to Product Management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide second-level pre-sales support to our Sales Team, assisting in responding to RFPs/RFIs, designing solutions, and providing product information.
- Support key projects to ensure the best possible technical outcome, leading technical discussions, and articulating the value of our solutions.
- Develop and maintain technical materials to support sales activities, including slideware, solution briefs, white papers, and success stories.
- Effectively disseminate product knowledge to our Sales Team and Channel partners.
- Act as the point of contact for our Product Management team, reporting and consolidating customer needs across the APAC region, validating business cases, and writing and prioritizing feature requests.
- Report project activities, analyze project trends, and provide market vision to inform our commercial strategies.
- Participate in the development of commercial strategies and contribute to the growth of our business in the APAC region.
- Travel as required throughout the APAC region to support our customers and partners.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and provide input on product direction and strategy.
Requirements:
- At least 6 years of experience in pre-sales, with a strong background in network security and a proven track record of success.
- Vendor experience and international experience are highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, Routing, Switching, and Network Security.
- Expertise in Advanced Threat Protection, including EDR Technology and Ethical Hacking, with hands-on experience with Kali and Linux pen testing systems.
- Strong presentation skills to executives and individual contributors, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A self-motivated, independent thinker with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the network security industry.
