About the Role

The Global Financing & Credit Trading (GFCT) APAC franchise is seeking a skilled Credit Analyst to join their team in Hong Kong. As a specialist desk analyst, you will be responsible for providing market commentaries, trade ideas, risk management, and face-to-face interactions with clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth credit analysis and risk assessment of companies operating in India markets.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with senior finance executives of external counterparties, including large corporations and institutional investors.
  • Identify profitable business opportunities and provide timely and accurate credit information to traders and salespersons.
  • Assist in the development of credit limit approval emails and provide summaries of voting events.
  • Work closely with sourcing to develop lists of creditors for each credit.

Requirements

  • Masters or Bachelors Degree from a Tier 1 institute with at least 7 years of credit analysis experience and related jobs.
  • Strong analytical skillset with sound accounting and financial modelling understanding.
  • Experience dealing with senior finance executives of external counterparties, especially large corporations and institutional investors.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well within a team.
  • Interest in putting on trade ideas and working closely with traders.
