We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Technology Manager to join our team at the Bank of China. As a key member of our Information Technology Department, you will be responsible for leading the implementation of IT projects and managing a team of Business Technology professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Analysis: Conduct thorough business and user requirement analysis to ensure that IT projects meet the needs of our business stakeholders.
- Liaison between Business and IT: Act as the primary liaison between our business and IT units, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
- Project Management: Manage the implementation of IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and within budget.
- Team Management: Manage a team of Business Technology professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
- Issue Resolution: Monitor project progress and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Business Support: Provide strong support to our business users, ensuring that their needs are met.
- Reporting: Prepare various management reports to inform business stakeholders of project progress and outcomes.
- Financial Management: Manage project budgets and procurement processes, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively.
- Risk Analysis: Participate in risk analysis for new product launches, ensuring that potential risks are identified and mitigated.
Requirements:
- Education: Degree holder or above in Business Studies, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
- Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience in business analysis, with candidates having more experience considered for the senior manager position and those with less experience considered for the assistant manager role.
- Core Banking Experience: Experience in Core Banking applications such as Deposit and Loans applications is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Liaison and Communication Skills: Solid experience liaising with all relevant parties in IT or Business and working with business stakeholders, with strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Language Skills: Good command of both written and spoken Chinese and English, with knowledge of Mandarin a plus.
- Technical Skills: Solid experience in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
