Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Claims Manager to join our team at Chevalier Insurance Company Limited. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and supervising subordinates to handle insurance claims and ensure a smooth day-to-day operation. You will also handle and manage litigation and direct settlement cases, provide quality customer services to clients, and assist in preparing management reports and statistics for management review.

Chevalier Insurance Company Limited is one of the major property and casualty insurers in Hong Kong. We underwrite a whole range of general insurance business and strive to provide value-added services for injured workers.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise subordinates to handle insurance claims and ensure a smooth day-to-day operation
  • Handle and manage litigation and direct settlement cases
  • Provide quality customer services to clients
  • Assist in preparing management reports and statistics for management review

Requirements:

  • Degree holder with professional qualifications such as ANZIIF/ACII
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in handling insurance claims, preferably in EC and casualty cases; supervisory and management experience is required
  • Possess relevant legal knowledge will be an advantage
  • Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English and fluent in Mandarin
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong career-minded, enthusiastic, able to work independently and under pressure
