As a Complex Claims Examiner, you will play a critical role in delivering responsive, fair, and professional service with empathy and efficiency. You will manage key claims handling enquiries, including coverage determination, quantum analysis, and legal liability assessment, while providing a high standard of customer service.

You will work closely with Team Manager/Senior Adjuster to ensure effective vendor and litigation management on complex claims, developing communication for internal stakeholders as needed. Your goal will be to continuously improve claim file handling through feedback and support from Quality Assurance Review processes.

This role requires a basic standard of technical claims competence for handling moderate to lower complexity complex claims, with a focus on maintaining best practice procedures for complex claims consistent with global best practice.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent claim resolution skills, minimizing indemnity exposure and mitigating vendor and legal expense. They will also have effective communication skills, proactively handling complex claims on an ongoing basis, and accurate financial control through consistent reserve and other financial transaction discipline.
