About the Role

We are currently seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Client Onboarding Specialist in Citi's Private Bank division, based in Hong Kong. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about compliance and risk management to contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Onboarding: Act as a specialist in client onboarding and KYC (Know Your Customer) processes, providing advisory and execution support to Private Bankers to facilitate end-to-end new client onboarding, from prospect onboarding advisory to account opening.
  • Research and Pre-Screening: Conduct thorough research and pre-screening of prospects, focusing on negative media and PEP/SPF association, as well as advising on profiling information/documentation requirements for new clients under current regulations and policy standards.
  • Client Profile Reviews: Conduct client profile reviews for customer accounts, ensuring all information and documentation are up-to-date and compliant with local regulation and Citi standards.
  • Account Opening: Onboard new client relationships and additional members by completing client risk profiles and processing relationship updates using Citi's onboarding applications.
Requirements
  • Experience: 0-3 years of relevant experience in banking operations, preferably in client account opening and pre-requirements processes.
  • Skills: Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
