Senior Application Development Manager (Sales Process & Wealth Management)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Application Development Manager to lead our team in developing and implementing system functionalities for the Retail Banking sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze user requirements and transform them into technical designs.
  • Implement or enhance system functionalities to meet business requirements.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and collaborate with developers and external parties to resolve problems.
  • Manage an off-shore development team and provide guidance.
  • Monitor development progress and perform code reviews to maintain quality.
  • Support UAT and system-wise BAU tasks.
  • Provide 7x24 production support.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Over 5 years of experience in system analysis, application design, development, and implementation, preferably in banking or finance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in Java, J2EE, Struts, Spring, Maven, CSS, AngularJS, Hibernate, IBM Websphere, MQ, DB2, and shell scripting.
  • Experience in Containers, Micro-services, API, and DevSecOps is an advantage.
  • Effective communication with all levels of organization and staff.
  • Good team player with a positive attitude, self-motivated, and adaptable to changes.
  • Knowledge of Retail Banking's investment / insurance products, regulatory requirements, and wealth/portfolio management is an advantage.
