In this role, you will:

  • Assist the Head of Department in overseeing various Agent Bank responsibilities related to mandated transactions.
  • Communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders, including Borrowers, Sponsors, and Lenders.
  • Facilitate discussions among stakeholders and advisors, such as legal professionals and engineers.
  • Analyze legal documents and perform calculations for loan and interest rollovers.
  • Manage tasks independently and resolve issues arising from a portfolio of transactions.
  • Collaborate with Operations on loan-related payments.
  • Work closely with various departments to ensure seamless transaction delivery to clients, including product teams, Operations, and Credit.
  • Support the Head of Department in maintaining internal controls and team initiatives.
  • Assist in coordinating activities for internal and external audits.

Required qualifications include:

  • A degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Commerce, or Law.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in agency roles, legal documentation, or loan administration (experience with Loan IQ is advantageous).
  • At least 5 years of experience in investment banking.
  • Solid understanding of corporate loan features, particularly syndication loans.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of industry standards for structured transactions and legal documentation.
  • Strong grasp of various financing structures, especially in Project Finance, along with excellent multitasking abilities and attention to detail.
  • Capability to work under pressure on complex transactions while meeting multiple deadlines.
  • Awareness of bank compliance and internal controls.
  • Proficiency in Word and Excel applications.
  • A highly organized self-starter with a strong team-oriented mindset.
  • Effective communication, stakeholder management, and consensus-building skills.
