Avature is seeking an experienced Backend Developer to join our dynamic Digital Center of Excellence (CoE) team. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects, including application development, eCommerce, data lakes, data analytics, and AI solutions.

About the Role

  • You will design, develop, and maintain server-side components for web applications, mobile apps, and AI powered solutions.
  • You will collaborate with front-end developers and data scientists to integrate user-facing artifacts.
  • You will optimize application performance and scalability.
  • You will implement security and data protection measures.
  • You will monitor and troubleshoot system performance and reliability.
  • You will stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in backend development.
  • Proficient in at least 1 server-side language; Node.js and Python preferred.
  • Experience with database management systems including both SQL and NoSQL DB.
  • Familiarity with RESTful and GraphQL based APIs.
  • Experience with microservices architecture or service-oriented architecture.
  • Knowledge of public cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of caching mechanisms and message brokers.
  • Familiarity with ML model packaging and deployment.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
