Job Title: Internal Audit, Treasury

As a key member of our Internal Audit team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of our internal control systems and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough and independent audits of our treasury and asset management businesses to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify and assess risks, and develop recommendations to mitigate these risks.
  • Provide advisory services to our business units to help them develop and implement effective risk management strategies.
  • Develop and implement effective audit methodologies and tools to ensure the quality and efficiency of our audit processes.
  • Foster a strong control culture within the Bank, ensuring that key control measures are in place to minimize risk exposure.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with business units, support teams, external auditors, and regulators to ensure a professional image of the unit.
  • Provide guidance and on-the-job training to team members to promote a high-performing professional audit team.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Possession of CPA, CIA, AHKIB, or other relevant professional qualifications.
  • A minimum of 6 years of audit experience within financial institutions or public accounting firms.
  • Experience in auditing treasury, asset management, and custody businesses.
  • Strong auditing skills in general banking practices.
  • Good understanding of banking operations and business acumen.
  • Excellent communication, persuasive, and interpersonal skills, both oral and written.
  • Commitment to maintaining high levels of integrity, objectivity, confidentiality, and competence.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua.
