As BU Head for Geotechnical Projects, you will be responsible for leading a team of professional engineers to develop and execute strategies that evaluate risks, including cost, schedule, quality, safety, and other project opportunities and liabilities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and overseeing the business unit's profit and loss (P&L) while acquiring new projects;
  • Developing and delivering short- to long-term service line strategies;
  • Acting as a decision-maker for project management teams;
  • Coordinating and advising on the resolution of significant project risks;
  • Serving as a communication bridge between all parties to ensure projects are completed on schedule.

To succeed in this role, you should have a degree in civil, structural, or geotechnical engineering or an equivalent discipline, with 15+ years of experience in project management and delivery within geotechnical engineering or civil disciplines. Familiarity with slope and government projects, as well as experience working in a matrix reporting organization, are also highly desirable.
