We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Education and Languages:
Job School/Unit : School of Education and LanguagesClosing Date : 24/Feb/2025, 3:59:00 PMMajor Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee shall mainly be responsible for the following:
- planning and teaching the above full-time undergraduate course;
- preparing teaching notes and assessment, marking and commenting on assignments and examination papers;
- providing consultation to students;
- preparing course documents (e.g. course report); and
- performing other duties related to the development and delivery of the course.
English is the medium of instruction for the course. The appointee will be required to teach a total of 39 hours for the course during daytime on campus from May to August 2025. The working period will be from May to September 2025.
Candidates
Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:
- a recognized higher degree in Education (or equivalent) plus teaching experience; and
- being fluent in written and spoken English.
Preference will be given to candidates with related experience in curriculum development, English Language Assessment and/or teaching experience in higher education.
Terms and Conditions for Appointment
Successful candidates will be appointed on a temporary part-time contract. Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions.
