About the Role

Cathay Pacific Airways Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Assistant Manager Cargo Digital. This role will play a critical part in driving our cargo digital transformation strategy, working closely with our Cargo Digital Manager and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and implement new technologies and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Digital Transformation
    • Monitor new technology developments and industry digitization trends, identifying potential applications and use cases for CX Cargo and making recommendations for proof of concept or further study.
    • Coordinate and drive proof of delivery or study of new technology applications, working closely with IT and ETPM teams.
    • Understand business needs and pain points, facilitating business requirement collection and validating requirements against pre-defined objectives and scopes.
    • Conduct end-to-end business process reviews to understand how new digital initiatives will impact business processes.
    • Assist in developing business cases for new projects with sound justifications and collaborate with IT and ETPM on project approval processes.
    • Carry out project management and coordination tasks, or act as BU project manager for cargo digital transformation projects, working closely with IT project managers and project teams.
    • Work as digital product owner, responsible for managing product development roadmap and delivery in Agile.
    • Establish and maintain excellent communication and partnership with key stakeholders, including Cargo BUs, IT, Digital, Digital Experience, GLSHK, Cathay Cargo Terminal, and Ground Handling Agent.
  • Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is required.
    • Minimum 5 years' experience in IT or digital, with experience in air cargo or logistics industry a plus.
    • Good project management skills, with experience in business process review, cargo management system, Agile solution delivery, and strong functional and technical knowledge in Salesforce Sales Cloud and Case Management System.
    • Strong analytical, planning, problem-solving, and organizing skills, with ability to independently manage and prioritize multiple tasks within defined time constraints.
    • Strong digital product management background in driving user engagement and communication for improvement on internal working efficiency.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to interact with people at all levels and from different cultural backgrounds.
    • Good influencing skills and ability to promote collaboration among stakeholders.
    • Good command of both spoken and written English.
    • Experience of working in a large complex organization.
