Job Description Overview

This role is a contract position within the APAC marketing division, responsible for the strategic planning and execution of marketing initiatives across the North Asia and Southeast Asia regions. The focus will be on driving business growth and customer retention across various product lines in the M&A and fundraising sectors.

About the Team

The APAC marketing team comprises six dedicated marketing professionals, each overseeing distinct territories across the region. This position will report directly to the Growth Marketing Director located in Singapore and will collaborate closely with regional sales leaders to define effective go-to-market strategies tailored for North Asia and Southeast Asia. The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter, adept at implementing and executing marketing strategies, while also developing a comprehensive marketing plan for the upcoming periods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end marketing campaigns and events, focusing on key performance indicators such as MQLs and business opportunities.
  • Oversee marketing operations across North Asia and Southeast Asia, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with event organizers and vendors to facilitate marketing events and campaigns, including venue sourcing and promotional materials.
  • Collaborate with the sales team on client targeting, segmentation, and messaging strategies.
  • Engage with Asia-Pacific leadership on both internal and external strategic initiatives.
  • Work with the head office to create localized marketing content and communications, enhancing visibility in local media channels.
  • Develop, edit, and proofread various marketing materials.
  • Prepare detailed reports to monitor campaign activities and outcomes.

Basic Qualifications

  • A minimum of three years of experience in field marketing, events, or project management.
  • Proficient in CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies to oversee programs from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to budget.
  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google-based platforms, and design tools such as Adobe Suite and Canva.

Desired Qualifications / Attributes

  • Experience in marketing B2B software or financial products.
  • Ability to manage relationships across the organization.
  • Strong communication skills with a background in communications marketing.
  • Management experience is advantageous.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, as well as Chinese (Traditional & Simplified).
  • Experience in Southeast Asia is a plus.
