**Make a Difference with Arup**

We're seeking an experienced professional to lead our Energy Storage projects. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for executing project execution for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) construction and commissioning.

**Responsibilities**

  1. Lead project execution for BESS construction and commissioning, ensuring thorough understanding of scope, schedule, and stakeholders.
  2. Identify gaps in scope and responsibility, working with stakeholders to address them for successful project implementation.
  3. Apply engineering principles and consult subject matter experts to identify issues and drive solutions.
  4. Specify equipment for projects, including transformers, switchgear, and protection solutions.
  5. Interface with internal and external stakeholders for consistent communication.
  6. Review project design documents, including single-line drawings and communication diagrams.
  7. Provide constructive feedback to improve internal processes and products.

**Qualifications & Experience**

  1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Power System Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  2. 5+ years of experience leading project design, preferably in large power stations or PV projects.
  3. Minimum 2 years of field service and/or commissioning experience in power generation, power electronics, and controls.
  4. Preferably 3+ years of Solar Energy System, Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), and/or hybrids product knowledge.
  5. Familiarity with battery energy storage systems design, power generation systems, and inverter products.
  6. Knowledge of power electronics and controls, as well as PLC, MarkVI, and SCADA systems.
  7. AutoCAD and Excel skills required, with experience in industrial standards and manufacturing processes.
