Job Description

We're currently hiring a Cloud Data Engineer to join our team in Hong Kong. As a Cloud Data Engineer, you'll design and implement data architectures and pipelines for cloud and digital analytics projects. You'll work with our technology partners and the digital analytics team to assist in pre-sales work delivery and contribute to RFP responses and demos for new project opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement data architectures and pipelines for cloud and digital analytics projects
  • Deliver hands-on technical services, such as cloud migration, data migration, data transformation, data warehousing, data visualization, and advanced data analytics
  • Set up CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows to ensure proper integration of cloud infrastructure and data pipelines across environments
  • Streamline and automate processes to ensure the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of digital analytics platforms
  • Work with our technology partners and the digital analytics team to assist in pre-sales work delivery
Requirements
  • University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related disciplines
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience in cloud data platforms on AWS, Azure, and GCP
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and Cantonese
  • Self-motivated, self-organized, and strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience in microservices and API development with Java and Python
  • Knowledge and experience in Big Data, Data Science, and Cloud technologies
  • Experience in website and application development and tracking
  • Professional cloud certification holder (GCP, AWS, and Azure)
  • Client-facing experience to be presentable and able to translate complex technical concepts into layman language
  • Knowledge of version controlling, DevOps practice, containerization, and Agile
