About the Role

Experience and Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with the following experience and qualifications:

  • Essential: 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering using SQL and Python.
  • Strong Understanding: Strong understanding of data lake and data warehouse design principles.
  • Cloud Experience: Hands-on experience with cloud-based ETL services (e.g., AWS, EMR, Airflow).
  • MLOps Experience: Familiarity with MLOps frameworks (e.g., AWS SageMaker).
  • Distributed Computing: Experience with distributed computing systems (e.g., Spark, Hive, Hadoop).
  • Database Experience: Proficient with databases such as Postgres, MySQL, and Oracle.
  • Communication Skills: Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.

Desirable:

  • Cloud Platform Experience: Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, Azure).
  • Machine Learning Experience: Understanding of Machine Learning and Deep Learning.
  • Real-Time Data Streaming: Proficient in real-time data streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, Spark Streaming).
