Job DescriptionThis role is part of our expansion plans, and we are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant and Finance Manager to join our team in Central, Hong Kong.
- Key responsibilities include handling the full set of accounting functions, ensuring completeness of all transactions, preparing journal entries, generating management and financial reports, and performing month-end closing for the companies and compiling financial statements.
- The successful candidate will also be responsible for preparing monthly FRR regulatory reports under SFC standard and assisting with year-end audit preparations for the group and subsidiaries in HK and US.
To be successful in this role, you should have a degree in accounting or related disciplines, recognized accounting professional qualifications such as HKICPA, ACCA, and over 6 years of relevant working experience. A minimum of 3 years of experience in the financial sector, particularly in asset management (SFC licensed) firms, private equity / real estate funds, or fund administration companies, is required.
A strong understanding of SFC FRR reporting is essential, and experience in US tax and reporting is preferred. Proficiency in QuickBooks, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is also necessary.
Excellent written and spoken English, Mandarin, and Cantonese language skills are required. This is a mid-senior level position that offers a full-time employment opportunity with competitive benefits.
