Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Compliance Strategist to join our team at adidas. As a senior member of our Group Taxes department, you will play a key role in creating value for the global enterprise by maximizing corporate profitability through minimizing overall tax burden.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in transfer pricing, including professional experience in tax planning and compliance. You will be responsible for setting the Group's transfer pricing strategies and policies, monitoring compliance by group entities, and providing direction on the pricing of intra-group transactions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify significant improvement potential in tax/TP compliance and derive solutions to address these issues.
  • Develop and implement adequate communication packages to present results, recommendations, and solutions to business partners.
  • Contribute to business projects that have TP/tax implications, develop and help implement TP compliant and tax efficient solutions.
  • Design, develop, and implement state-of-the-art analytical tools to track TP compliance and analyze transactional data.
  • Ensure smooth operation of the business by taking ownership for related actions, such as support and co-management of tax/TP audits.

Key Requirements:

  • Comprehensive understanding of international TP regulations and practices.
  • High degree of customer orientation and ability to maneuver in a consistently changing environment.
  • Ability to operate cross-functionally and understand external business drivers.
  • Excellent communication skills for influencing others and ability to think and act strategically.
  • University degree in Business Administration or a related field, with a focus on tax/TP.
  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant practical experience in TP, including professional background in tax planning and compliance.
