Chief Procurement Strategist

This is a key role for an experienced procurement professional to lead the development and execution of category strategies for textiles. The successful candidate will have a strong background in procurement, sourcing, and supply chain management, with expertise in textile categories.

The Chief Procurement Strategist - Textile Category Lead will be responsible for developing and executing category strategies that align with business objectives, identifying and evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and maintaining strong supplier relationships. Additionally, this role will involve monitoring supplier performance, implementing corrective actions, and tracking key metrics and KPIs.

• Category Strategy Development: Develop and execute category strategies that align with business objectives, ensuring cost savings, quality, and service level agreements are met.
• Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers that meet organizational needs, negotiate contracts, and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor supplier performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Metrics and KPIs: Track key metrics and KPIs, including savings, supplier performance, contract compliance, category spend, total cost of ownership, and cycle time.

• Bachelor's/Master's Degree: Bachelor's degree in International Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Experience: 8+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, with prior experience in textile category management preferred.
• Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills with a track record of achieving cost savings and favorable contract terms.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data and develop actionable insights.
