Job Title: V&V Engineer

At Alstom, we are seeking a highly skilled V&V Engineer to join our dynamic team in Hong Kong. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our railway systems and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the V&V Manager to review and verify all documents related to our projects.
  • Develop and implement verification plans to ensure the correct implementation of requirements.
  • Design and develop test procedures and scenarios to validate system requirements.
  • Collaborate with the project engineering manager to strategize test campaigns and ensure compliance with company standards and customer requirements.
  • Lead or participate in technical discussions with customers to resolve issues and ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  • Perform test sessions, produce test reports, and associated change requests.
  • Investigate defects detected on test benches and specify, design, develop, and validate test environments and tools.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, electrical, electronics, communications, instrumentation, or engineering.
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in railway signaling.
  • Experience in T&C/Validation activities.
  • Knowledge of IXL/ATC/ATS subsystems.
  • Knowledge of computer networking and programming languages.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Ability to ensure proper application of disciplined processes to deliver complex engineering.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
