Job Purpose:

  • ">
  • To develop and implement an impactful communications strategy that amplifies the Group's corporate brand, customer values, and market positioning.">
  • To build and manage the Group's PR and media image, leveraging proactive strategies and initiatives at the corporate and business levels.">
  • To drive best practices in the communication of the Group's ESG strategy and disclosures, enhancing internal and external stakeholder engagement.">
  • To drive and manage the Group's CSR and corporate volunteering strategy implementation, creating positive social impact.">
  • To coordinate the Group's crisis communications efforts and mitigate potential reputational risks.">

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • To develop and implement an impactful communications strategy that enhances the Group's corporate brand and customer values.">
  • To build and manage the Group's PR/media relations profile, aligning with our brand image and positioning.">
  • To provide guidance and advice to the Bank's retail banking marketing communications team on developing impact messaging.">
  • To cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with local and/or regional media, KOLs, and other key stakeholders.">
  • To lead the development of communications tools, including customer communications, press releases, corporate pitchbooks, and videos.">
  • To manage and direct the team's resources to drive best practices in the communication of the Group's ESG strategy and disclosures.">
  • To drive and manage the Group's CSR and corporate volunteering strategy implementation.">
  • To identify and implement corporate sponsorships that amplify the Group's brand image and stakeholder reach.">
  • To coordinate the Group's crisis communications and reputation risk management efforts.">
  • To manage the Group's media monitoring reporting.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Degree or above in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related disciplines.">
  • CESGA or other qualifications in ESG and Sustainability are advantageous.">
  • A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in financial services, PR, or journalism.">
  • Solid knowledge of retail banking products and services is preferred.">
  • Excellent English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua) verbal and written communication skills.">
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful communication strategies and initiatives.">
  • Experience in issues management and crisis communications.">
  • Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with media outlets and journalists.">
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders.">
  • Self-motivated with strong analytical and planning skills.">
  • Detail-oriented, able to multi-task, and work under pressure.">
  • Strong team player with good people skills.">

Salary Range: HKD 600,000 - HKD 900,000 per annum
