Job Summary:

This role will be responsible for defining sourcing strategies for fuel uplift in Hong Kong and outports, as well as managing supplier relationships to ensure optimal results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute fuel procurement and commercial strategy for Hong Kong and other outports within the Cathay Group network.
  • Manage fuel sourcing projects and suppliers to ensure optimal results.
  • Conduct market analysis and identify trends that may positively or negatively impact the company.
  • Develop and implement new fuel supply procedures.
  • Foster a high-performance culture and standards within the Procurement and Aircraft Trading Department community.
  • Identify and execute long-term LEAN projects that benefit the category strategy.
Requirements:
  • 5 years' relevant fuel supply, operations, and refuelling management experience.
  • University graduate in a related discipline.
  • Procurement and Category Management experience is essential.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements and basic contract law.
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of finance/accounting principles.
  • Ability to inspire, build trust, and respect among the APD community.
  • Excellent people skills, including the ability to negotiate and influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to define and implement strategies.
  • Performance management skills.
  • Approachable and decisive.
