**Key Responsibilities**

  • Perform thorough due diligence checks on account openings to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Conduct detailed reviews of account opening processes and accompanying documentation to identify potential risks and areas for improvement
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory standards, providing guidance and support to colleagues as needed
  • Collaborate with various departments to streamline and enhance the compliance process, identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes as necessary
  • Provide training and guidance to junior staff on compliance procedures and best practices
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in regulations and industry best practices related to compliance, ensuring that our client's operations remain compliant and competitive

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Law, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of solid compliance experience in private banking, with a strong understanding of AML and KYC regulations
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks
  • Excellent communication and report writing abilities, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to colleagues and stakeholders
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines
