Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Private Banker to join our team at Royal Bank of Canada. As a key member of our Private Banking team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client service and support to our high net worth clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in providing market information to clients and handle client requests and instructions directly
  • Collect and prepare documentation for account opening, KYC, and risk profiling
  • Work closely with internal departments to monitor trade processing and ensure seamless client experience
  • Adhere to RBC policies and procedures to protect the business from financial and reputational risk
  • Comply with relevant Group policies and escalate issues to Team Heads and Business Manager as needed
  • Participate in projects assigned by Front Office management team and provide administrative support as required

Requirements

  • University degree in Business Management, Finance, Economics, or other relevant professional finance qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in financial services industry, preferably in wealth management or private banking
  • Excellent communication and client servicing skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
  • HKSI Licensing Examination Papers 1, 7 & 8 or equivalent
  • Able to meet deadlines and handle high pressure
  • Proven organization skills with strong attention to details
  • Demonstrated computer skills, including MS Word and MS Excel
