Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Transformation Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading transformation projects within our finance function, focusing on system updates, regulatory changes, and other initiatives. As a key member of our System, Process and Change Team, you will work closely with stakeholders to identify requirements, design solutions, and implement changes that impact finance processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Finance Representative: Act as the primary point of contact for finance-related matters, working closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, define solutions, and identify consequential impacts on finance processes.
- User Acceptance Testing: Plan, design, and execute user acceptance testing, updating documentation and training impacted finance teams (both onshore and offshore).
- Project Management: Lead significant new developments, utilizing project management expertise, insurance product knowledge, finance systems, and accounting knowledge to drive results.
- Stakeholder Management: Manage multiple internal and external stakeholders who initiate systems and process changes impacting Finance, ensuring their requirements are met.
- Process Ownership: Ensure finance-related processes and system impacts are understood by all stakeholders, guaranteeing change projects meet Finance requirements.
- Talent Development: Assist the Senior Manager in stakeholder management and supervise Assistant Managers within the Systems, Process and Change Team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Immediate Availability: Ability to start immediately or have flexible notice period.
- Project Background: Experience in managing complex projects, preferably within the financial industry.
- Accounting Background: Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, with knowledge of IFRS 17 accounting entries/process definition.
- Insurance Product Knowledge: Familiarity with insurance products and related regulations.
- Professional Certifications: CPA or pursuing certification.
