Job Title: Relationship Manager

China CITIC Bank International Limited is seeking a skilled Relationship Manager to join our team. As a key member of our wealth management team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with high net worth individual customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain client relationships in accordance with the bank's policies and procedures.
  • Business Development: Meet the bank's objectives on CITICdiamond business targets & plans.
  • Customer Acquisition: Acquire and grow high net worth customer base effectively through MGM and business networking and seek business referrals.
  • Account Management: Manage and monitor client accounts on an ongoing basis in order to understand changing investment needs and objectives and to coordinate portfolio solutions.
  • Team Collaboration: Maintain a close working relationship with Products & Portfolio Specialist teams to ensure the continued viability of client objectives and to ensure coordination of a client's overall strategies and needs.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Actively participate in marketing and promotional activities for customer acquisition and relationship building including client seminars etc.
  • Risk Management: Understand the level of risk associated with all products and services and ensure that all relevant information are disclosed to clients.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with account opening requirements on CDD and KYC; and Review relevant MIS reports to identify suspicious transactions in a timely manner.
  • Anti-Money Laundering: Comply with anti-money laundering and counter terrorist financing controls in accordance with regulatory standards and CNCBI policies.
  • Customer Service: Establishes oneself as a trusted advisor by participating in customer's decision-making process, as appropriate.
China Team Responsibilities:
  • Mainland Chinese High Net Worth Individual Customer Acquisition: Acquire and grow the Mainland Chinese high net worth individual customer base through networking activities with CITIC Group to enhance the customer referral effectiveness.
  • CITIC Bank Bankers Education and Coaching: Assist in educating and coaching CITIC Bank Bankers about CITIC Bank International's Wealth Management products and services.
  • High Risk Customer Review: Perform annual review of high risk / unsuitable customers timely.
  • Business Relationship Maintenance: Proactively maintain business relationship with individuals who satisfy the banks' standards of suitability and who meet the banks 'Wealth Criteria'.
  • Investment Services: Provide additional Investment Services, including Portfolio Allocation Service to customers.
Hong Kong Team Responsibilities:
  • CITICdiamond Customer Upgrade: Upgrade and convert selected existing customers into CITICdiamond customer by promoting Diamond proposition to customers.
Requirements:
  • Education: Degree Holder in Business Administration or related disciplines.
  • Qualifications: Possess CFP / CFA / HKRFP qualification as well as IIQAS and other required qualifications under SFC for selling insurance and investment products.
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years of relevant banking experiences in serving high net worth individual customers in retail bank or private bank.
  • Knowledge: Familiar with KYC and account documentation with knowledge of wealth management products.
  • Skills: Familiar with wealth management knowledge including retail banking practices and products, sales and marketing, risk assessment and credit analysis.
  • Language: Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
