Job Overview:

The Operations Internship at Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited provides a valuable opportunity for undergraduate students to gain hands-on experience in the banking industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in conducting Customer Due Diligence (CDD) processes, including onboarding, periodic review, and trigger event review.
  • Help identify and verify Know Your Customer (KYC) documents and customer statistics data.
  • Communicate with customers to obtain incomplete CDD information and documentation within service level agreements.
  • Maintain compliance with government regulations and bank requirements for CDD reviews.
  • Complete assigned work and projects as directed by managers.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate students interested in pursuing a career in the banking industry.
  • Proficient command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Cantonese and Mandarin.
  • Self-motivated individuals able to work independently and take on challenges.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, such as Lotus Notes, MS Office, and Chinese Word Processing.
  • Able to commit to full-time work from June to August 2024.
