This role reports directly to the Retail Director and requires collaboration to achieve sales targets, ensuring alignment with brand development and financial objectives. Key responsibilities include driving sales success, building strategic relationships, and managing key accounts.
Requirements for this position include at least 3-5 years of solid sales experience in the fine wine trade, a proven track record of selling wine to high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, and excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Sales Success: Report directly to the Retail Director and work collaboratively to achieve sales targets, ensuring alignment with brand development and financial objectives.
- Build Strategic Relationships: Develop and execute effective sales strategies, fostering long-term relationships and driving Acker's merchant sales division forward.
- Growth and Development: Actively pursue new business, identifying growth opportunities, and explore potential channels for expansion.
- Manage Key Accounts: Oversee sales projections and ensure effective implementation of sales and marketing strategies among private clients.
- Events: Actively participate in marketing and promotional activities including events, dinners and tastings.
