Key Responsibilities:

Propel sales and ensure achievement of objectives for Hermès Fragrance & Beauty

  • Develop annual business strategy in collaboration with the Area Manager; conduct monthly assessments on sales performance, inventory levels, and product effectiveness.
  • Track and report retail sales on a monthly basis, preparing promotional analyses and competitive performance reports for the Area Manager, along with detailed insights per location and operator.
  • Proactively identify and suggest avenues for growth.
  • Prepare for new shop openings and renovations.
  • Organize and manage promotional initiatives at points of sale, executing strategies determined by the Area Manager.
  • Tailor product assortment, merchandising, and visual displays to align with the overarching brand strategy.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive activation plan (including key commercial periods and new product launches).
  • Optimize business performance by managing the assortment file for each retail location.

Order and Inventory Management

  • Oversee monthly orders to ensure the appropriate introduction of new products across all operators.
  • Collaborate closely with the Business and Operations teams to guarantee timely order fulfillment and delivery.
  • Keep clients informed with regular updates on their orders and address any arising issues or concerns.
  • Assist in forecasting and consistently monitor invoicing against forecasts and targets alongside the Area Manager to achieve budgetary goals.

Uphold the Hermès Brand Image

  • Embody the Hermès philosophy and implement the retail strategy at points of sale.
  • Ensure brand image consistency by reviewing and updating merchandising in accordance with Hermès guidelines: appropriate product assortments, planograms, testers, visuals, etc.

Foster Strong Client Relationships

  • Cultivate robust partnerships with clients, agencies, and field personnel.
  • Assist buyers during order placements to prevent stock shortages.
  • Actively engage and contribute during sales and client meetings.

Execute Hermès Training Strategy

  • Assess training needs and organize local training sessions for Hermès Beauty Consultants, general staff, and promoters.
  • Educate and mentor Beauty Consultants, general staff, and promoters at points of sale.
  • Plan training events approved by the Area Manager and the training department.
  • Enhance sales and service through field coaching.
  • Promote team spirit and skill development at points of sale.

Reporting and Budget Management

  • Serve as the liaison between the regional office and field teams.
  • Compile all sales reports, competitive insights, trends, and opportunities, along with activities of Beauty Consultants.
  • Adjust travel plans based on priorities (sales performance, promotions, rankings, etc.).
  • Organize and facilitate store visits with the Headquarter Office in collaboration with the Commercial Executive.
  • Conduct regular reviews of the expenses budget for Beauty Consultants, temporary promoters, promotional site rentals, and manage travel budgets as defined by the annual budget set by the Area Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in the Perfumes and Cosmetics industry.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-driven with a solid business acumen, strategic thinking, and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking capabilities, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Collaborative attitude with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Proficient verbal, written, and presentation skills in English; proficiency in French or Chinese is a plus.
  • Skilled in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
