Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Manager, Chief Control Office to join our team. As a member of the Chief Control Office (CCO), you will play a key role in managing risks across Digital Business Services and the Bank, ensuring operational resilience and driving continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in risk management and control at banks or financial institutions. Prior experience with technology and cyber security risks, business continuity, third-party management, and incident management is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with various stakeholders are essential.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing proactive risk management strategies, driving continuous improvements, and fostering an effective risk and control environment. Additionally, they will work closely with business functions to develop comprehensive, risk-based commercial solutions that support the growth and efficiency of the Bank's operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the implementation and embedment of Operational Resilience Framework, policies, and procedures to ensure the Bank is operationally resilient.
  • Develop, manage, and track project plans for operational resilience activities, including timelines, resources, and budget.
  • Establish strong collaboration with business and functions across the Bank to deliver resilience standards and principles in a timely and effective manner.
  • Provide quality advice, guidance, and support to business and functions on operational resilience deliverables.
  • Identify potential delivery gaps, develop and coordinate risk management actions, and follow through to successful closure.
  • Rolloff new resilience capabilities, such as data insights, contingency planning.
  • Collaborate with third-party engagement managers and Procurement to review and integrate resilience requirements into contracts and service level agreements.
  • Prepare regular status updates, meeting materials, and management reports for robust governance and oversight.

Requirements
  • University Graduate in Business/Finance/Risk Management or related subject.
  • At least 5 years' experience in managing risks and controls at banks/financial institutions.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact with various stakeholders.
  • Great sense of ownership, analytical abilities, organization, and execution skills.
  • Quick learner, agile, and adaptable to changing priorities and tasks.
  • Good understanding of banking business, operational processes, products, and services.

Estimated Salary Range: HK$800,000 - HK$1,200,000 per annum
