Position Overview:

The Human Resources Assistant will play a crucial role in managing various Compensation and Benefits (C&B) functions within the organization. This position involves a range of responsibilities aimed at ensuring effective HR operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage C&B Functions: Oversee monthly payroll processing, calculate final payments, administer retirement benefits, handle taxation, and manage attendance and leave administration.
  • Employee Records Maintenance: Ensure the accuracy of employee data within the HR Information System (HRIS), such as PeopleSoft.
  • HR System Enhancement: Assist in projects aimed at improving HR systems and processes.
  • Ad Hoc Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  • Educational Background: A diploma or higher in Human Resources Management or a related discipline.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant HR experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Employment Ordinance: Familiarity with local employment laws and regulations.
  • Language Proficiency: Strong spoken and written skills in both English and Chinese.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft is advantageous; proficiency in MS Office applications is required.
  • Entry-Level Consideration: Candidates with less experience may be considered for the role of Assistant Human Resources Officer (C&B).
