Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Expert to join our team as a Solution Consultant, focusing on AutoCAD IST applications and portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AutoCAD and other Autodesk solutions, with excellent technical and customer-centric skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze customer inquiries and develop solutions for AutoCAD IST, providing expertise to customers and partners.
  • Organize and deliver training courses and mentoring sessions for AutoCAD IST and related solutions, ensuring effective knowledge transfer.
  • Deliver product presentations to customers, including in-house, fairs, and tradeshows, highlighting the benefits of Autodesk solutions.
  • Support customer projects, providing billable services, and collaborating with Datech staff on Autodesk product-related topics.
  • Document and publish software benchmarks in the Autodesk environment, demonstrating expertise and sharing knowledge.
  • Write product-specific articles for internal and external professional media, showcasing technical expertise and thought leadership.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge and experience with AutoCAD and other Autodesk solutions, as well as competitor solutions.
  • Demonstrated customer-centric service skills, with experience in technical pre-sales or consultancy roles.
  • Ability to set up and moderate customer meetings, communicating technical outcomes to internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills, with a proven track record of aligning resellers and end-users with Autodesk strategy.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to travel as required within Malaysia and APAC.
  • A technical degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant industry and product area.
