Key Responsibilities:
  • RNA Sequencing Analysis: Lead efforts in analyzing and interpreting RNA sequencing data, including differential gene expression analysis, pathway analysis, and identification of potential biomarkers.
  • Genetic Circuit Design: Apply algorithms and computational modelling to design and optimize genetic circuits for various applications.
  • Data Integration: Integrate diverse biological datasets to derive meaningful insights, including the integration of omics data, network analysis, and regulatory element prediction.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including biologists, engineers, and data scientists, to drive research projects and product development.
  • Bioinformatics Pipeline Development: Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reproducible bioinformatics workflows for various research and development projects.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI, bioinformatics, and synthetic biology to identify opportunities for innovation within the company.

Qualifications:
  • Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used in bioinformatics, such as Python and R.
  • Familiarity with relevant databases and tools in bioinformatics and synthetic biology.
  • Previous work in the field of synthetic biology or molecular biology.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese.
