Job Overview

The Network Administrator will play a crucial role in ensuring the stability and security of our network infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in networking and routing to join our team at Bank Of China (Hong Kong) Limited.

Key Responsibilities

As a Network Administrator, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Network Configuration and Maintenance: Configure and maintain Cisco Switches/Routers/Firewalls or Juniper Firewall to ensure optimal network performance.
  • Firewall Installation and Configuration: Install and configure Juniper/Cisco firewalls to secure our network infrastructure.
  • Collaboration with Vendors and Teams: Work closely with internal and external teams, as well as vendors, to implement network solutions and resolve issues.
  • Network Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Education: A degree in Information Technology or above in Telecommunications, Computer Sciences, or equivalent.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of hands-on experience in networking, routing, and switching.
  • Skill Set: Self-motivated and able to work under pressure, willing to work outside office hours for urgent production supports, and proficient in spoken and written Chinese and English.
  • Leadership Opportunity: Candidates with more experience may be considered for the position of Network Administration Manager.
