Job Title: Contract Officer

As a Contract Officer at SMBC Group, you will be responsible for processing and checking all clerical works in treasury market transactions and other administrative duties such as credit facility and counterparty ID registration in the operating systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and check all clerical works in treasury market transactions, including credit facility and counterparty ID registration.
  • Perform routine operational duties, including preparing and checking payments, confirming details of trades with counterparties, and posting account entries.
  • Ensure all securities transactions comply with Head Office and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide support and answer enquiries on treasury products settlement as required.
  • Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • HKDSE Level or above, or degree holder with less experience will also be considered.
  • 4 years' relevant experience in treasury marketing settlement.
  • Knowledge of operating RTGS-SWIFTNet and SWIFT Alliance systems.
  • Good PC knowledge in MS Office application.
  • Ability to take up multi-tasks and work under pressure.
  • A team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good command of both English and Chinese.
