The Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at The Chinese University of Hong Kong is committed to advancing patient services, research, and training in all major areas of ophthalmology and visual sciences.

We are seeking a clinical professional with expertise in clinical, surgical, and research duties at the CUHK Eye Centre in the Hong Kong Eye Hospital. As part of our team, you will be responsible for patient care, ophthalmic procedures, and investigations.

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • a valid registration as a nurse in Hong Kong;
  • a valid Practising Certificate issued by The Nursing Council of Hong Kong;
  • excellent communication skills;
  • good attitude and capability towards patient caring;
  • interest in and capability of supporting research projects.

A strong preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of ophthalmology and experience in surgical settings. This position is initially offered on a contract basis for 1-2 years, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.

Estimated salary range: HKD $60,000 - HKD $120,000 per annum, commensurate with qualifications and experience. We offer competitive benefits, including comprehensive medical insurance, annual leave, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
