Job Summary:

  • You will oversee purchase orders, negotiate major and bulk purchases, and provide guidance to purchasers on conducting regular price comparisons.
  • A key aspect of this role is monitoring daily purchases and reporting on monthly purchasing activities with analysis.
  • You will also participate in creating reports and managing framework agreements.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Sourcing new suppliers and auditing key suppliers is also essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily purchasing activities, including purchase orders, negotiations, and guidance to purchasers.
  • Monitor daily purchases and report on monthly purchasing activities with analysis.
  • Create reports and manage framework agreements.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Sourcing new suppliers and auditing key suppliers.

Requirements:

  • This is a challenging role that requires a university degree holder with 8+ years of purchasing experience in construction companies.
  • You should have 2+ years of purchasing experience for construction sites.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, and reporting is necessary.
  • Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin is required.
  • Flexibility to respond to site requests by mobile phone on Saturdays is also a must.

Work Details:

  • This is a full-time position with 5 days of work per week.
  • You will work in our Wong Chuk Hang office three days per week and in Tuen Mun site two days per week.
  • Annual leave: 20 days.
  • Medical insurance is provided.
