Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Deputy / Assistant Compliance Manager to join our Compliance Division at Bank Of China (Hong Kong) Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing advisory services to designated business units regarding regulatory compliance issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Regulatory Compliance Advisory: Provide expert advice to business units on regulatory compliance matters, ensuring that all activities are conducted in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Project Support: Participate in and assist with regulatory compliance-related projects, initiatives, and system launches/enhancements.
  • Policy Review: Review and update policies and procedures, compliance manuals, and other relevant documents to ensure they are aligned with regulatory requirements.
  • Compliance Training: Conduct compliance training for staff on local regulations and the Bank's policies and training objectives.
  • Reporting and Implementation: Assist in the implementation of Head Office compliance-related requests and reporting requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree holder or above in Law, Banking and Finance, Accounting, or related disciplines.
  • Experience: At least 2 years' experience in legal and regulatory compliance, preferably in banking, financial sectors, or regulatory bodies.
  • Skills: Knowledge of banking products, regulatory requirements, and market practices; good analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills; flexibility and adaptability to changes.
  • Language: Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin).
  • Software: Proficiency in using Microsoft Office.
