Key Responsibilities:- Serve as a supervisor for the Account Maintenance and Servicing Team, ensuring efficient management of account opening, closing, and maintenance processes while maintaining up-to-date customer account records in relevant systems (T24, SIGN).
- Oversee internal servicing related to account services, including monitoring SWIFT statement settings for corporate clients and VOSTRO accounts.
- Provide cross-team support, reviewing inward clearing cheques and performing checker functions or processing tasks as needed.
- Cultivate team members' skills by conducting training sessions on disaster recovery drills and contingency rehearsals, promoting adherence to policies and procedures.
- Assess team performance regularly, offering constructive feedback and tracking progress to drive continuous improvement.
- A degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in handling customer account documentation, with at least 3 years in a checker role preferred.
- A solid understanding of KYC and AML/CFT compliance regulations, as well as familiarity with Companies Registry practices.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience mentoring and developing team members.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in processes.
- The ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in relevant banking software and systems, with a willingness to adapt to new technologies.
- An excellent command of written and spoken Mandarin, English, and Cantonese, with strong communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders.
