About the Role

This key position reports directly to the Service Manager, focusing on managing the workshop team to meet business objectives, maintain high operational efficiency, and ensure excellent service quality, while adhering to rigorous audit standards.

Key Accountabilities
  1. Lead the workshop team, assisting the Service Manager in strategic workforce planning and evaluating team performance to achieve set targets.
  2. Implement operational improvements to maximize workshop productivity, efficiency, and quality.
  3. Evaluate and maintain compliance with Porsche's service process guidelines.
  4. Ensure that all service centres meet the necessary standards and pass audits.
  5. Offer expert guidance on vehicle diagnoses and repairs.
  6. Collaborate closely with various internal departments to facilitate smooth workflows and efficient deliveries.
  7. Communicate effectively with customers during test drives to assess repair needs.
  8. Guarantee a safe and functional work environment, including facilities and equipment.
  9. Assume responsibility for assigned projects and tasks from superiors.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education in Automotive Engineering or related field.
  • Previous experience as a Workshop Manager or similar role, ideally within the European motors industry.
  • Strong self-initiative, reliability, and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent spoken and written English and Chinese language proficiency.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Chinese typing skills.
