We are seeking an experienced Treasury Solutions Expert to join our Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFI) Coverage team in Hong Kong. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for covering a portfolio of Non-Banking Financial Institutions and building strong working relationships across business divisions, focusing on Sales and Origination.
In this role, you will be first point of contact for the C-suite of your clients and become their trusted relationship manager, positioning Deutsche Bank as their preferred banking partner. You will also be responsible for identifying opportunities and structuring solutions in coordination with product partners across the corporate bank product suite.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Senior client coverage and originator to identify opportunities and structure solutions in coordination with product partners across the corporate bank product suite.
- Covering and advising NBFI Clients across the Corporate Bank product suite with a particular focus on Cash Management, Trust & Agency Services, Trade Finance & Lending, Securities Services, and Risk Management Solutions.
- Develop Trusted Advisor status with clients and contribute to building Deutsche Bank's NBFI Coverage franchise and reputation in the market.
- Responsible for growing wallet share and generating significant revenue, recognizing revenue opportunities to cross-sell products for all areas of the bank.
- Drive results against client plans for revenue generation, franchise transactions, alignment with product partners, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure in close cooperation with other NBFI Regional Relationship Management and product teams that Deutsche Bank is the provider of choice for clients and that all avenues for working with our client across different geographies and products are explored.
- Involve senior management in key client presentations to emphasize alignment with Deutsche Bank's commitment to build the business.
- Ensure compliance to Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requirements in all dealings with existing and potential customers.
- Conducting business reviews to ensure clients are satisfied with their products and services.
- Academic degree (MSc) preferably within Finance or Economics.
- 8+ years of experience within the financial sector, with relevant experience covering a wide portfolio in a relationship management or product sales function in a global financial institution.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and enhance relationships with senior client contacts. Track record in being able to understand the strategic priorities of our clients and provide holistic corporate banking solutions to achieve their objectives.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English, both oral and written; Cantonese is a plus.
- Strong quantitative, numerical, and analytical skills.
- High level of energy and accessibility, clear team player.
- Excellent interpersonal skills: effective and concise communicator at all levels, both verbal and written.
- Creative problem-solving abilities, anticipates on internal and/or external business challenges.
- Strong commitment to integrity, professionalism, and teamwork.
- Excel and modelling skills as well as PowerPoint knowledge.
- Strong understanding of KYC, AML, risk management, and risk mitigation.
