Reporting to the Regional Operations Excellence & PMO Director, you will aim for superior performance within the logistics framework, spearheading the design and execution of various initiatives across the APAC region, in alignment with corporate standards to fulfill Regional Logistics goals. Additionally, you will assist in the transformation and enhancement of our processes and systems, supporting application modifications with our operational teams in a SAP-based environment.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Project Management:
Engage analytically and creatively in a problem-solving atmosphere, showcasing teamwork, innovation, and excellence with comprehensive project life cycle management. Successful project execution will encompass complete implementation from initiation to deployment for several initiatives concurrently. Oversee all facets of interconnected projects to ensure the overall program aligns with and actively supports the achievement of strategic objectives. Serve as the local authority to conduct pre-study gap assessments, identify discrepancies against the target solution, and recommend new procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance. Accountable for regularly reporting progress, challenges, and risks throughout all project phases. Collaborate with internal teams, both globally and locally, to ensure all relevant stakeholders are aligned and engaged with assigned tasks. Ensure proper identification and follow-up of all change management activities in logistics/warehousing, compliance, and import/export areas. Facilitate change management workshops, ensuring effective communication of changes and that new features and processes are understood by all stakeholders. Deliver projects punctually while maintaining quality standards. Develop support documentation, including risk logs and requirement specifications. Proactively highlight potential risks or issues and take action to resolve them. Establish a solid organization and relationship with Central/Region/Markets to support post-implementation improvements and evolution of business processes and systems.Operational Excellence:
Ensure the effective application of the logistics operating model, encompassing knowledge, documentation, execution, and standardization within the APAC region. Assist in identifying improvement opportunities within the APAC region and collaborate with counterparts from other regions and central teams to define and prioritize enhancement initiatives for the operating model. Validate proposals for modifications in the operating model specific to your region. Provide support to regional and cross-functional projects by comprehending the business model, validating potential impacts, and offering expertise on the operating model. Consolidate operational best practices in the region and apply relevant workflows accordingly. Aid in centralizing the management of significant RFQs in the region. Produce and elevate relevant standards for both Warehouse and Distribution, summarizing and continuously refining the SOP for key processes. Collaborate closely with the Group Logistics team to implement regional and local Lean/Continuous Improvement initiatives based on the global strategy. Analyze, identify, and implement actions to optimize transportation activities from CDC to RDC and from RDC to End Customer. Support the logistics team in minimizing global lead times and enhancing supply chain responsiveness.Your contributions will significantly enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our logistics operations, ensuring a seamless and standardized approach.
HOW WILL YOU ACHIEVE SUCCESS WITH US?
To excel in this position, you should possess a robust background in project management, logistics operations, and operational excellence. A Master's degree in logistics, supply chain management, engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
Extensive experience in Project Management with an emphasis on execution and rigorous implementation. Ability to gather and analyze data while applying insights for future use. Strong skills in process analysis, data collection, and modeling; Lean and Six Sigma experience is advantageous. Proven history in managing large-scale end-to-end FMCG/High Tech Ecommerce and Omni-Channel projects is a plus. Significant experience in Logistics (Warehouse/Transportation/Freight forwarding), operations process design, implementation, and reengineering. Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize, and adapt to changes while achieving results across multiple projects, managing dynamic initiatives that require flexibility as challenges arise, driving change management in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment. Proven capability to influence decisions made cross-functionally in a matrix environment where speed and cultural sensitivity are crucial. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities. Capacity to translate collected data into KPIs. Highly adaptable and able to work both independently and collaboratively, with a positive attitude and self-motivation. Ability to foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Confidence to work autonomously and by objectives. Excellent communication and presentation skills: able to convey information effectively with internal and external partners. Proficient in spoken and written English and Cantonese (Mandarin is a plus). Strong understanding of SAP implementation with solid knowledge of GTS/eWM/MM.
